District Camp 2026 - 1st - 3rd May - Enfield Scouts and The Lost Compass

Next year, we’re really excited to run Enfield District Camp over the bank holiday weekend of 1st to the 3rd May. The theme for the camp will be Enfield Scouts and The Lost Compass – think adventure and exploring!

We’re hosting this at Tolmer’s Scout Camp (https://www.tolmers.org.uk/).

Groups will camp together, with explorers camping in their own space with other explorer units from the district. There will be limited indoor accommodation, with priority going to beavers and their leaders if required.

We’ll need a contact for each section attending who can contribute to the programme planning meetings. The programme will be shaped for each section around the theme and the leader support available – please try to bring along as many leaders as possible to support the programme delivery!

The Camp Chief will be Lucy Hammond, who’s ran multiple international and large camps before, most notably as a member of the Contingent Management Team for the UK Contingent to Roverway in 2024. Cost

The costs district will charge for the camp are below. This cost doesn’t include food costs, or anything extra your group might want to add, so don’t forget to add this when advertising to young people.

Included in the programme will be at least 2 onsite adventurous activites for each young person, as well as a whole host of activities built around the theme. We’ll also have a campfire and silent disco to look forward to in the evenings!

The deposit will be non-refundable and will secure the places on camp. Leaders do not have to pay, they will still get a badge though! District will cover the cost of leaders programme from Sunday to the Monday.
